Manager Tax Compliances

Karachi, Pakistan

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Manager for Tax Compliances Department. This role involves a combination of strategic tax planning, market analysis, and hands-on execution to contribute to the firm's overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Receiving notices from clients and authorities and responsible for review of all clients’ notices with notices reasoning
  • Responsible for notices list, appeal list & tribunal list updating
  • Verification of tax computation & schedule, or tax workings before notice reply
  • Intimation to clients about the gap or tax liability via Email & WhatsApp
  • Take approval for tax liability & fee payment from clients
  • Responsible for all Income tax and sales tax correspondence (Income tax audit, sales tax audit, monitoring & other correspondence.) with FBR.
  • Responsible for all indirect taxes correspondence (SRB, PRA, BRA, KPRA & ISB)
  • Attend the office of AC/DC, ADC & Commission to answer the queries
  • Obtain order from AC/DC, ADC & Commissioner in favor of clients
  • Responsible for filing appeal
  • Attend in the office of commissioner appeal & state the arguments
  • Responsible for getting a stay
  • Obtain appeal order in favor of clients
  • Responsible for filing of tribunal appeal
  • Attend tribunal & state arguments to obtain stay & tribunal orders in favor of clients.
  • Responsible for companies tax computation
  • Responsible for e-filing of companies Annual ITR
  • Responsible for notices or written case discussions with the client
  • Review filing department computation and working before submission of ITR
  • Responsible for obtaining exemption orders
  • Any other task that will be assigned by the MP from time to time.

Qualification

  • ACCA/CA/ICMA/LLB Qualified / Finalist, M.COM or MBA from an HEC-recognized institution.

Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the same domain (Top Audit/Tax consultancy firms experience candidates are preferred)

Skills & Competencies

  • • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, and all types of tax returns.
  • • Excellent command of tax portals and MS Office
  • • Time management & Leadership Skills
  • • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
