Sanaullah & Co., a leading tax, corporate, and financial advisory firm with 15 years of excellence, is expanding its horizons into IT solutions with the launch of a new venture focused on ERP and business transformation. As part of this strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking ERP Senior Development Consultant to play a key role in shaping our ERP development, implementation and consulting services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Define the architecture, technology stack, and development roadmap for the ERP/Accounting software.

• Lead the development of key features such as accounting, inventory management, payroll, CRM, and reporting modules.

• Ensure the platform is scalable, modular, and adaptable for future enhancements.


Software Development:

• Oversee the full development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Collaborate with the product team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Develop core functionalities like double-entry accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and reconciliation.

• Implement mobile-responsive designs for cross-platform compatibility (web and mobile).


Team Management:

• Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Provide technical guidance to resolve complex challenges and bottlenecks.

Domain Knowledge:

1. Understanding of accounting processes and ERP functionalities such as AR/AP, GL, payroll, inventory, and CRM.

2. Familiarity with any ERP and accounting systems such as, Quickbooks etc.

Leadership Skills:

1. Proven track record in managing development teams and delivering large-scale projects.

2. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

3. Ability to work in agile environments and prioritize deliverables effectively.

Good to Have:

1. Experience in developing modular ERP systems with micro services architecture.

2. Familiarity with AI/ML for predictive analytics, fraud detection, or automation in accounting systems.

3. Knowledge of localization and multi-currency handling for global markets.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 1. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as ASP.Net Core, Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js).
  • 2. Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • 3. Expertise in database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • 4. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and DevOps tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
  • 5. Knowledge of ERP/Accounting standards and frameworks (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • 6. Deep understanding of accounting processes and ERP functionalities such as AR/AP, GL, payroll, inventory, and CRM.
  • 7. Familiarity with existing ERP and accounting systems
  • 8. Proven track record in managing development teams and delivering large-scale projects.
  • 9. Ability to work in agile environments and prioritize deliverables effectively.
  • 10. Experience in developing modular ERP systems with micro services architecture.
  • 11. Familiarity with AI/ML for predictive analytics, fraud detection, or automation in accounting systems.

Experience

  • At least 5-8 years as ERP consultant in a leading capacity/managerial role

Qualification

  • At least bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field preferred from HEC Approved University.
  • Finance/Accounting certification (ACCA, ACMA, CA Qualified/Partially Qualified) will be plus
