Sanaullah & Co., a leading tax, corporate, and financial advisory firm with 15 years of excellence, is expanding its horizons into IT solutions with the launch of a new venture focused on ERP and business transformation. As part of this strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking ERP Development Consultant to play a key role in shaping our ERP development, implementation and consulting services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of ERP/Accounting software modules such as accounting, inventory, payroll, CRM, and reporting.
  • Support the team in designing and implementing scalable, modular, and user-friendly features.
  • Participate in defining technical solutions under the guidance of senior developers or team leads.

Software Development:

  • Contribute to the software development lifecycle including coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Translate business requirements into functional code with support from the product and senior tech team.
  • Develop and maintain key functionalities such as basic accounting entries, reports, reconciliations, and user interfaces.
  • Ensure responsiveness across platforms (web and mobile).

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with fellow developers, QA, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of modules.
  • Seek and apply feedback from peers and mentors to continuously improve coding practices and technical skills.
  • Participate in team meetings and sprint planning.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and ERP concepts like General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory.
  • Familiarity with popular accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to ERP system architecture or modular software development.
  • Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts related to automation or analytics (not mandatory).
  • Understanding of multi-currency systems or global software considerations is a bonus.

Qualification

  • At least bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or similar field preferred from HEC Approved University. 
  • Finance/Accounting certification will be plus

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 1. Good proficiency in programming languages such as ASP.Net Core, Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript (Node.js).
  • 2. Exposure to front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • 3. Sound expertise in database design and management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • 4. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and DevOps tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
  • 5. Knowledge of ERP/Accounting standards and frameworks (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • 6. Basic understanding of core accounting processes and ERP functionalities such as AR/AP, GL, payroll, inventory, and CRM.
  • 7. Familiarity with existing ERP and accounting systems
  • 8. Strong collaboration and learning mindset to work under the direction of senior developers and consultants on large-scale implementations.
  • 9.  Ability to adapt in agile environments, with basic understanding of sprint cycles, task prioritization, and team communication tools.
  • 10.  Interest in modular software design, especially microservices architecture, and eagerness to learn through hands-on project work.
  • 11. Interest in AI/ML applications in accounting (e.g., automation, analytics), even if not yet applied in professional settings.
  • 12.   Awareness of localization and multi-currency features in global ERP systems, with openness to explore and understand their technical implications.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
